Christopher Barkdull Obituary
Christopher Eugene Barkdull, 48, of Columbus, GA passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
A memorial service will be held, 2:30 PM Thursday, August 21, 2025 at CityScape Church with Chaplain Anthony Foxworth officiating.
Chris was born June 24, 1977 in Ft. Benning, GA son of Frank Barkdull and Donna Sutton. He was an attentive and loving husband. A wonderful and dedicated father. As well as a fun and boasting poppy.
Chris is preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Barkdull and his grandfather, Floyd Sutton, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Barkdull of Columbus, GA; children, Paxton Barkdull (Mailee) of Columbus, GA, Destiny Barkdull of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Hazel Rose Barkdull, Harlem Bleu Barkdull; parents, Donna Sutton of Columbus, GA, Frank Barkdull of Phenix City, AL; brother, James Barkdull of Columbus, GA; maternal grandmother, Lavern Sutton of Columbus, GA; mother and father-in-law, Mitchell and Sharon Smith of Valley, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, other family, and friends.
