Christopher C. Bell of Emerson was 69 years old when he passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Born in Englewood, Chris lived most of his life in New Milford and Bergenfield before settling in Emerson. Chris loved driving and worked as a truck driver as well as in the construction industry for many local companies over the years before retiring. Chris was a 30 year member of AA who loved his Harley Davidson and working on his many projects in his garage. Some would say Chris missed his calling as an engineer because of the way he enjoyed tinkering with things, always trying to reinvent the wheel.

He is predeceased by his parents Francis William Bell and Eileen Margaret (nee O'Brien) Bell. Chris is survived by his loving wife Nancy Morgese. whom he met in 2001. He has been a stepfather to Jesse Sacks, Cory M Sacks and his wife Clayelle and Pop to their son Brighton Ash. Chris is survived by his brother Gregory Bell and his wife Loretta, his sister Deborah Bell, and is predeceased by his late sister Janet Ann Bell. He is the uncle of Elysia Bell, Jeanette Seivers, Dawn Ann Seivers and the late Deanna Margaret Bell. Christ is the great uncle of Karis Parker, Christoph Seivers, and Liam Bell Cage. He will be missed by his other family members and friends.

Chris is also survived by his mother and father-in-law Joseph and Joan Morgese, along with his sisters and brother-in-law, Christopher Morgese and his wife Barbara, Janet Lawton and her husband Pete, Carol Duryea and her husband Jed. He is also an uncle to many nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. He will also be missed by all of the extended Morgese Family.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Boulevard Funeral Home, 1151 River Road, New Milford, New Jersey.
