Christopher George Brame, 29, of Gastonia, passed away on January 1, 2019 in South Carolina. He was born in Tampa, FL, on January 13, 1989, the son of Phillip Norman Brame and Christine Marie Hodges. Chris was an exceptional father and placed his family above everything. When he made a friend, he made a friend for life. He loved Panther and Tar Heel football, and enjoyed shooting. Chris was also a third degree Mason. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Emily Brame; grandparents, Nancy Brame, Herman Brame, and Edward Davis. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tiffany Marie Brame; children, Rylee Grace Brame, and Mason Christopher Brame; stepfather, Jeffrey Hodges; brothers, Phillip Michael Brame and wife Stacey, Gregory Paul Brame and wife Melissa; sisters, Devan Gosnell, Courtney Gosnell, Maddie Brame; grandmother, Ella Davis; and his new found family, father, Samuel Midgett and wife Angie; sister, Erika Midgett; brothers, Joel Midgett, and Elliott Midgett.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, 6:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mount Holly. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
