Christopher Gerald Burke, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born on May 5, 1944, in the Bronx, New York, Chris married the love of his life, Rita, on July 15, 1967. Together they shared nearly six decades of love, laughter, and devotion.
Chris will be remembered as a strong and steady presence in the lives of those who knew him. His love for his family was unwavering and his sense of humor could lighten any moment. He enjoyed John Wayne movies, long walks, and a lifelong career in construction, always willing to help his children with their home projects.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; his children, Michael and Elizabeth, Kathleen and Roy, Brian and Kate, and Michael and Anne; nine beloved grandchildren; his sister, Patricia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his siblings Alice, Theresa, Francis, and John.
