Christopher Terrence Carter

Christopher Terrence Carter, age 44, of Palatka, Florida, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025.

Born on December 14, 1980, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Bruce and Charlene (Cinotto) Carter. Chris was raised in Charlotte and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1999. He continued his education at East Carolina University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Broadcasting.

Professionally, Chris began his career at the Charlotte NC Fox News Station, later working with NASCAR and Motocross Racing, and ultimately with the PGA Tour & NBC Sports.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Charlene Carter; his sister, Kelley (Scott) O'Connor; his brothers, Zachary (Meghan) Carter and Bruce Carter Jr. Chris was a devoted uncle to his six nephews-Brandon, Cash, Holden, Lincoln, Riley, and Noah-whom he loved spending time with and spoiling rotten. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins who were an important part of his life. Most importantly his partner in crime - his beloved dog, Winnie.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Blanche Cinotto, and Charles and Phyllis Carter.

Chris was a force of nature to all who knew him. His positivity, humor, and genuinely caring personality all made him unforgettable to all of us.

For that reason we have decided to have a Celebration of Life. It will be held on December 14, 2025, in North Carolina. More details will be shared once arrangements are finalized.
