Christopher Michael Carver, 46 of South Sioux City, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 after a work-related accident. Abiding by family wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, with Pastor John Woodford officiating. Visitation, with the family present, will begin at 6:00 p.m. the night of the service. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.meyerbroschapels.com
Christopher was born on November 28, 1977 in Bluefield, West Virginia, to David and Teresa (Poore) Carver. He married Cheyenne White on March 15, 2017 in Princeton, West Virginia and the couple moved to Siouxland from Montcalm, West Virginia 5 years ago, and have lived in Jackson, Nebraska since arriving. Chris worked at Wilson Trailer, Tyson, and most recently at C & H Truck Parts.
Chris enjoyed reading, working in the garage, bowling, but found his greatest joy in spending time with family. Chris and Cheyenne studied the bible together, and the family’s faith in Jesus Christ leaves peace in their hearts following his passing.
Chris is survived by his wife Cheyenne of Jackson, Nebraska; daughter Alana Hurt, daughter Stormy Carver and her daughter Everly Danielle Carver, step-son Brian Rode and his daughter Aerial Valentino; mother Teresa Carver; brothers Derrick (Lindsay) Carver, David (Angel) Carver Jr., and Errick Carver; sister Bethanie (Gavin) Neely.
Chris was preceded in death by his father David Carver, Sr.
