Christopher "Chris" Charles Boost

Chris Boost, a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend to everyone he met, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Chris is survived by his mother, Judy Eddleman Boost, his sisters Stephanie (Tom) McCormick, Angela Boost and her fur babies, Kenzi and Maddie; as well as his fur baby, Abby, and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his daddy, Charles Boost, and his grandparents Glen and Ernestine Eddleman, and Otto and Rella Boost.

Chris graduated from Northwestern High School in 1985. Some of his happiest memories were spent watching the Trojans play football alongside his Daddy. His love for football continued throughout his life, especially for Clemson Football. His blood truly ran Tiger orange.

Chris also loved the simple joys of life, including trips to the beach and fishing off the Springmaid pier.

In the spring of 2023, Chris moved with his mom to the Dorchester Independent Living Community, where he quickly became a familiar and loved presence. Chris never met a stranger, and he made numerous friends. He loved calling Bingo at the Dorchester and was always eager to help with any tasks that needed to be completed for the community.

Chris's memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family will receive and welcome friends on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 1:00P.M. followed by a funeral service at 2:00P.M. at Greene Funeral Home Norwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, South Carolina 29732. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Grandview Memorial Park - Cherry Road 621 S. Cherry Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732.
