Chris went home to be with the Lord on March 16 after a long illness with cancer.
Chris was an avid modeler and started "Classic Plastic," an instructional forum, on Facebook as well as a Youtube. Over the years, both forums gathered a large following of viewers and friends.
Chris graduated from Kenmore High School in 1977.
Chris was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Renee; Mother Mae; brother Michael (Tammy) Cortel; Children Brandin and Angel; along with many cousins, grandchildren, and a niece.
Donations can be made in Chris's honor to the Cuyahoga Falls Cancer Society. Services will take place Monday, March 20 at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel at 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Visitation starts at 10:30 AM, with a service following at 11:00 AM.
