Chris was a proud graduate of Shoreham-Wading River High School and went on to serve his country honorably as a United States Marine from 1985 to 1989. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career with Goodyear Tire and later with Hertrich Ford Service.
Known for his great sense of humor and warm personality, Chris had a gift for making people laugh. He loved doing spot-on impersonations, acting out scenes from his favorite movies, and had a particular fondness for Top Gun. His laughter and lighthearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Chris is survived by his beloved mother, Mary Jane Carlstrom; his cherished children, Megan, Ronni, and Joseph; his siblings, Craig, Frank, and Jenna; and many loving cousins and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025 at St. Jude’s the Apostle Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, DE 19958.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Chris's name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/.

I worked with Chris at Hertrich. He was always very funny. He always told me how proud he was of being a Marine, and he always had my back with rowdy customers. He will definitely be missed. Prayers for his family during this difficult time.
