Daniel L. Walker
June 26, 1985 – November 3, 2025
Daniel L. Walker, age 40, of Bridgeville, Delaware, passed away peacefully in Milford, Delaware, on Monday, November 3, 2025, after a short and courageous battle with brain cancer.
Born on June 26, 1985, in Seaford, Delaware, Daniel was the beloved son of Elicha Pusey and the late William Walker, Sr. He attended Woodbridge High School. On September 25, 2021, Daniel married the love of his life, Jennifer Buckler, in a beautiful ceremony at their home. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, hard work, and love for their family.
Daniel worked as a technician at Utility Eastern Shore Trailer, where his skill, dedication, and positive attitude earned him the respect of his coworkers and friends. A true outdoorsman who found his peace while in nature, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and crabbing, and could often be found cooking on the grill or smoker. He had a passion for working on small engines-especially four-wheelers, boats, dirt bikes, and lawnmowers-and he was known for his "green thumb" and his ability to fix just about anything.
Above all, Daniel loved his girls and took great pride in being a devoted husband and father.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Walker of Bridgeville, DE; their daughters, Emma and Hillary Walker of Bridgeville, DE; his mother, Elicha Pusey of Bridgeville, DE; stepmother, Donna Walker of Bridgeville, DE; brothers Rob (Ashley) of Greenwood, DE; Raymond of Bridgeville, DE; and William (Jessica) of Collinsville, VA; sister, Ailson (Justin) of Milton, DE; stepbrother, Johnny (Maggie) of Milford, DE; stepsister, Jenny (Cliff) of Bridgeville, DE; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a grandson due in December.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rachel and Hilery Walker and Alice Lester; his father, William Walker, Sr.; and his niece, Kayla Porter.
Daniel will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and unmatched ability to lend a helping hand. He often said, "I am a jack of all trades, master of none," though to his family, there was nothing he couldn't do.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
