March 2, 1984-September 17, 2025

Chris Doughty died unexpectedly on Wednesday September 17, 2025. He was only 41 years old. His family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Your family has always loved you from day one until you took your last breath. You will be forever in our hearts. 

Christopher was born March 2, 1984 in Keflavik, Iceland to Jeffrey Doughty and Cindy (Douglass) Anderson. 

He was a beloved Son, Brother, Father and Uncle. 

Chris was a military child and traveled to and grew up in-several countries, states and U.S. Territories. 

Chris was an outdoorsy person, enjoyed swimming and would go camping with his dad. He enjoyed working the mines with his uncle in South Dakota. He enjoyed playing pool and was a tattoo enthusiast. 

He is survived by his mother Cindy Anderson (Glenn) of Conway SC, sisters Melissa Ridenour (Derek) of Aberdeen, NC and Angela Doughty-Apicella of Whispering Pines, NC. Chris leaves behind four children, Aden, Avareigh, Chase and Kendal. 

Chris is preceded in death by his father Jeffrey WM Doughty. 

Wonderful memories of Chris will also be carried on by his nephews Nevan, Avery, Cooper, Paxton and numerous other family members. 

We love you, we miss you, and we will carry you in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully in eternal love.
