Christopher Dube Obituary
Christopher Joseph Dube, 35, of Cheshire passed away at home with family by his side on January 2, 2025, while in hospice care. He was born in New Haven on March 15, 1989, as the son of Henry G. Dube of Cheshire and Kathryn Uihlein Berera (Jon) of Torrington. He is survived by his parents, sister Andrea Dube Markavich and niece Lilyana Markavich of Litchfield, and brother Brian Dube (Elizabeth) of Wallingford. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle Pam Dube and Seth Skydel of Cheshire, cousins Joshua and Matthew Skydel, and aunts and uncles Mark Uihlein, Kurt Uihlein (Lisa), Mary Cruz (Tito), Ellen Hurlburt (Ron), Rick Uihlein (Keriann), and many cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Henry J. and Lillian Dube and Fredrick and Eleanor Uihlein. Chris had a passion for gaming and a talent for building computers. His last two weeks were spent surrounded by family, playing Zelda, Pokémon, and Magic cards. A special thank you to his aunt Pam and uncle Seth for opening their home and caring for Chris. Another thank you to his aunt Mary for her help in taking care of him. Services will be held at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Hillside Cemetery in Cheshire. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Christopher can be made to the Adult Congenital Heart Association, 280 North Providence Rd., Suite 6, Media, PA 19063.
