Christopher S. Garrett, 48, of Eastaboga, passed away on November 25, 2025, just two months shy of what would have been his 49th birthday on January 25, 2026.

Christopher was a man in motion-someone who filled every moment with purpose, laughter, and love. He cherished his children, Tristen Garrett and Ashley Couch, more than life itself, and they were the center of his world. He delighted in his grandchild, Kenny, with whom he loved playing superheroes-putting on masks and fully committing to character, creating memories that will last a lifetime. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Lonnie Mae Chapman, who raised him to be the great man he became-a man who loved the mountains, embraced adventure, and lived with a heart so big that even God couldn't let it keep beating on this earth.

Christopher is survived by his eldest sister, Tasha Garrett, who took on a motherly role in his life and with whom he shared an unbreakable bond-two peas in a pod throughout their lives. As the only boy among six girls, he held a special place in his family. He leaves behind a circle of friends he considered family, including Scotty Craft, Wes Dobson, Jon Snodgrass, Casey Knight, and Jon Hart, among many others whose lives he touched with his generous spirit and infectious humor.

Anyone who met Christopher loved him dearly. He had a way about him that made it impossible to stay upset with him for long-his charm, humor, and genuine heart could mend any rift. For many years, Christopher owned and operated a successful lawn care business, taking immense pride in his work. He could often be found driving around, pointing out all the homes he'd cared for over the years-each one a testament to his dedication and craftsmanship. He was a man of much knowledge and many talents, who wasn't above putting his teenage daughter to work alongside him when the occasion called for it.

Christopher cherished his grandparents and had deep respect and love for his elders, including Hester Sims, Polly Davidson, and Frances and Eudean Nelson. He had a passion for the mountains, for playing guitar and drums, and for making people laugh. He would do anything to bring joy to those around him, and his memory will live on in every life he touched.
