David Larry Dunmire Jr

David L. Dunmire Jr., age 70, of Franklin, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025. He was born on November 1, 1955, in Coshocton, Ohio, to the late Maxine Dunmire and David Dunmire Sr.

David was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Diane Dunmire, and his children: Benjamin Dunmire (Nichole), Ronnie Batchelor (Mike), Vicki Hand (Tim), and Rusty Batchelor (Ellen), sisters Cathy Fortney, Lynn Fortney, Sherry Miller (Jeff). He was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. He is preceded in death by his son David L. Dunmire 111, and granddaughter, Timberland Winter Webb.

Throughout most of his career, David worked proudly as a truck driver, providing for his family with dedication and hard work. In his free time, he enjoyed deer hunting and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His family was truly the heart of his world.

David will be remembered for his steady presence, outspokenness, and the deep love he had for those around him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
