La Grange- Christopher Todd Gause, 52, passed away at UNC Lenoir Health Care on April 3, 2023. He was born in Newport News, Virginia on March 6, 1971.
Christopher had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. Without much of a filter, whatever Christopher thought, he said. He was a generous soul and a big heart, willing to do anything to help anyone. His grandchildren were the light of his life and he enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with them.
An avid football enthusiast, Christopher was the biggest fan of the New England Patriots. If he wasn't watching football, he could be found fishing or playing pool.
Christopher is survived by his fiancée, Denise Davis; step-daughter, Kimberly Dixon and her husband, Randy; grandchildren, Kyle Boyd, Kody Boyd, and Braxston Dixon; and sister, Gena Gause. In addition to his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his brother, Robbie Gause.
