Christopher Gomez Obituary
Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Sampson County Expo Center, located at 414 Warsaw Road, Clinton, North Carolina.
Burial will follow on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Springvale Cemetery.
Christopher was born in Berkeley, California, where he lived with his parents until the age of two. His family later moved to North Carolina, which became his home until the age of eighteen.
Known lovingly as Chris, he was a very special young man-joyful, kind-hearted, and humble. His strength of character and gentle spirit touched everyone around him. He was and will always be remembered as a devoted son and a loving big brother to his siblings, Luis Angel, Kylie, and Caleb.
Christopher's presence filled every part of his home, and his voice remains like a song in the minds and hearts of his family. In every moment shared with him, he left something truly special.
His mother shares these words of love:
"I do not know how I will overcome this loss, but with your love and with God's help, I will find the strength to go on. Thank you for being the greatest eldest son God could ever give me. I love you, and we will love you forever."
Christopher will be remembered for his smile, his noble heart, and the deep love he gave to his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents and his beloved siblings, who will cherish his memory forever.
We love you always and forever your brothers and your mother.
Christopher nació en la ciudad de Berkeley, California, donde vivió con sus padres hasta la edad de 2 años. Posteriormente, su familia se mudó a Carolina del Norte, lugar que se convirtió en su hogar hasta los 18 años.

Christopher was one of my students at Clinton High School. I enjoyed having him in my class and the energy he brought to the activities we did in class. We had many talks about school and what he wanted to do with his life after he had finished school. Chris was always respectful and easy to get along with. Todos los que conocemos y amamos a Christopher lo extrañaremos profundamente. Lamento mucho la pérdida que su familia y amigos están sufriendo. My heart goes out to his family at this most difficult time.
