WINDHAM - Christopher Mason Gray, known by his close friends as Hurricane (HURC) 53, passed unexpectedly on July 26, 2025. He was born June 24, 1972 to Lyn and Barbara (Drown) Gray. Christopher graduated from Deering High School, class of 1991. For the past 15 years Chris worked in the Portland Public Schools. Ten of those years were as a Custodian, a Night Shift Supervisor, and Head Custodian. Most recently as a food delivery driver for Portland Public Schools. Working at Central Kitchen was most rewarding for Chris. He spoke very highly of his Teammates. He and his wife Tina have made lifelong friends with folks at central kitchen which meant the world to him. He had several hobbies which included gardening and cooking with Tina. Spoiling his fur babies Nova, Bella, Buddy and Sugar. Woodworking, playing guitar. His favorite things to do were spending time with his two girls Colleen and Kendra, fishing, shopping, as well as target practicing with his brother Karl, and enjoying an ice-cold Coors Light! Chris is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Tina Gray, his daughters Colleen and Kendra Gray of Windham, his stepson Robert Kinne of Windham, and his brother Karl Gray and his fiancé Joelle Milliken of Portland. Visiting hours will be held Sunday August 3rd from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Dolby Blais and Segee Funeral Home, 434 River Road, Windham Maine 04062.

What an amazing man! Worked with him at Longfellow for a few years and always heard stories about his amazing wife and family, and how an ice cold Coors light would taste right now. Rest in peace my friend.
