Christopher Jeff Heflin, 67, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. The graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Corinth Missionary Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Larry Dyar officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Born on February 16, 1958, to Reburn and Marie Jones Heflin, Chris retired from International Paper after 35 years, and was also a poultry farmer for 35 years. He was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. Chris held Corinth Missionary Baptist close to his heart, and enjoyed being around his church family. He also enjoyed going to Michigan and hunting with his brother.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Vikki Heflin; son, Christopher Nicholas (Sonia) Heflin; mother, Marie Heflin; grandchildren, Christopher Walker Heflin and Maddie Ann Harville; step-grandchildren, Joey Evans, Nate Evans, and Alex Evans; great-grandchild, Cameron Harville; brothers, Roland Heflin and Mark (Amy) Heflin; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Reburn Heflin; step-daughter, Chenoa Evans; sister, Patty Heflin; and sister-in-law, Paula Heflin.
Pallbearers will be Danny Morris, Joe Woodruff, Gage Terry, Keith Terry, Randy Heflin, and Rory Carpenter.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Aveanna Hospice, especially nurse Megan Terry.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Corinth Missionary Baptist Cemetery Fund.
