Christopher Hilliard

Schenectady Christopher Hilliard, 59 passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 at Westchester Medical Center. The son of the late Arthenius "Walter" and Lena Hilliard, he was born and raised in Schenectady and was a graduate of the former Linton High School, class of 1983. In addition to his parents, Chris was predeceased by his uncle and aunt, who were like second parents to him, Deacon Willis and Deaconess Viola Sanders, and by his cousin Anthony Sanders. Survivors include his brothers, Timothy Hilliard (Marianne) and Tony Mangum; nieces and nephews, Domielle, Chantell, Timesha and Marcus Hilliard; his cousins, Willis, Diane and Robert; a special and devoted friend, Margo Dickson, and many many more layers of cousins, family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 at 10am at Macedonia Baptist Church, 26 Wilson Ave, Albany, NY 12205. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 9am to 10am prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
