Christopher Daniel Hungler 59, died on Saturday, November 9th, at his home in Cold Spring surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by his mother Carole Ann, Aunt Patricia Walsh and Uncle Gerald Walsh. He was a loving and devoted husband to April. His greatest joy in life were his three daughters Courtney Stephens (Mike) , Morgan Ball (Ryan), and Natalie Hempfling (Dalton). He also loved being a Pop-Pop to his grandbabies Eleanor, Noah, Emmy Kate, Millie, Ford, and Nolan.
He was a talented quarterback at Newport Central Catholic in the early 1980s. He enjoyed coaching football for the Campbell County Red Devils. An avid Notre Dame Football fan, he took many trips to Notre Dame for football games with friends and son-in-laws and these were some of his most precious memories.
Some of his favorite times were spent vacationing with his family in Hilton Head Island.
In his later years he was filled with love and faith for the Lord and prayed regularly. He will be greatly missed by so many. In Lieu of flowers please send donations to Team Gleason or Tunnel2Towers
