Christopher Dale Hunt

Christopher Dale Hunt (Chris) passed away unexpectedly at his home in Tucson,
Arizona on Sunday, December 7, 2025, due to a thoracic aneurysm rupture. He was
born in Paducah, Kentucky on October 28, 1972, to William Dale Hunt and Jane
Carolyn (Cooper) Hunt. He was an older brother to Meredith (Hunt) Riley. Chris lived in
Kentucky until he moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1998. He worked as a Front of House
Manager for a few high-end Tucson restaurants until finding his place at St. Joseph's
Hospital as the Senior Director of Food & Nutrition for Morrison Healthcare.
Chris is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Melinda Dickmann, his 15-year-old son
Cayden, his father Dale, his mother Jane, his sister Meredith; husband Bryan, niece
Emma, and nephew Drew, his mother-in-law Sandi, and many aunts, uncles, and
cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and father-
in-law, Keith Dickmann.
Services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2025, at 11:00am at Resurrection Lutheran
Church located at 11575 N. 1 st Ave. Oro Valley, AZ 85737. A reception will follow at
Home Plate Marana at 2:00pm located at 8579 N. Silverbell Rd. Tucson, AZ 85743.
