Christopher C. Ivery, affectionately known as "C.C.," departed this life peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 09:15 P.M., surrounded by love and care. He was born December 26, 1939, in Aubrey, Lee County, Arkansas, to the late William and Velma Hatlin Ivery. His sister, Florie Jones, also preceded him in death. C.C. lived a life of service, dedication, and quiet strength. Answering the call of duty, he served proudly in the United States Air Force for twenty years, where he embodied discipline, loyalty, and courage. His time in service shaped him into a man of honor, integrity, and unwavering faith. Beyond his military career, C.C. was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. His greatest joy came from his family, whom he cherished deeply. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and guidance that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He is lovingly remembered by three sons: Derrick Ivery of the home, Piece Ivery (Shirley) of Tennessee, and Jeffery Ivery of Tennessee; six grandchildren: Nandon and Liyah of the home, Christopher, Sequioa, Tamon, and Essence of Tennessee; two great-grandchildren: C.J. and Simone of Tennessee; and one sister, Mercelene Williams of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He will also be remembered by a host of other relatives and friends who were touched by his kindness and character. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Elite Hospice, 4200 N. Washington Street, Suite 2, Forrest City, AR 72335, for their compassionate care and unwavering support during his final days. Though C.C. has transitioned from this earthly life, his memory will live on through the lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the love he freely gave.
