Obituary of Christopher A. Jenkins
Christopher A. Jenkins, 53, of Farmingdale passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Chris was born in Neptune and lived most of his life in Farmingdale. He was a Howell Township High School graduate and received his associates degree from Brookdale Community College. Chris was a warehouse supervisor at Restaurant Depot in South Brunswick. Previously, Chris worked at Supply Saver in Wall Township. He had a passion for music and could play several instruments including saxophone and the guitar. Always keeping fit, Chris savored his time working out. Other passions for Chris included cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He was the owner of Chris Jenkins Racing and spent much time at Wall Stadium. Chris also loved to throw down in the kitchen, watch NASCAR & Formula 1 racing, along with his favorite sports teams (Yankees, Packers, and Devils). He loved to make people laugh, and spend time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chris was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Jenkins; and his sister, Kimberly Jenkins. He is survived by his father, Albert B. Jenkins, Farmingdale; his sister, Tracy Armstead and her husband, Vince; and nephews, Kevin and Joseph of Telford, PA. The family would also like to extend special thanks to John and Lisa Gluck, Farmingdale for always being there for Chris.

Oh Cruz, I cannot believe still that you died. I hope when you get to heaven federal be waiting for you. I still can´t believe that you and him both died and me and Christine are still here. I will say that both your deaths impacted our lives. I hope you found the peace in death that you did not find in life, I think about you often and pray for you both for the short time that I did do you, I enjoyed your smile your company, watching my best friend fun loving my husband`s best friend was one of the most beautiful things I ever seen in my life. I know you are with Fred. It is laughing and going over old times like the both you said brothers from another mother, rest in peace Chris you were loved and you were missed

Chris and I were born a couple days apart at Jersey Shore and our mothers shared a room after. We used to joke that we may have been switched at birth. Chris was the most down to earth person I think I knew. He will be missed.

I met Chris when I moved to NJ from TX years ago. He loved that I was from SRV's home state. Chris took me to my first 311 show at the Stone Pony. I rode on the back of his motorcycle in the snow to see Jewel at a small club in Long Branch. We discovered the music of Jeff Buckley together. I loved watching him as the front man of his band. We shared a love for music and each other. Chris has always had a special place in my heart, and always will. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. His life is definitely one worth celebrating.

Chris was an amazing man. We were friends for countless years and no matter how much time passed when we spoke it was like no time had passed at all. He was a phenomenal musician and he could bring laughter at the drop of a hat. My daughters and grandson adored him. Sending love and prayers to Tracey and his pop. Fly high Chris.
