I was sadden to hear of the passing of Chris. The last time we saw each other we spent time reminiscing of our high school shenanigan's. I will cherish those memories. My thoughts and prayers are each of you. Rest In Paradise Chris!

Chris was our brother. Closer than any of our family. We are honored to have had him in our lives. Seven years wasn't enough time. He was a mighty man of God. Words can't express who he is in Christ. His love for Jesus was first and foremost followed by his love and dedication for his children siblings and parents.
I do know we will be together one day in glory. We learned from Chris true love., and a friendship that transcends this world.
We pray for the family and friends to be comforted during this very difficult time.
With Godly love,
Mark & Carri
I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another."
John 13:34-35 AMP
For to me, to live is Christ [He is my source of joy, my reason to live] and to die is gain [for I will be with Him in eternity].
Philippians 1:21 AMP
Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words].
1 John 3:18 AMP
But love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; for your reward will be great (rich, abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High; because He Himself is kind and gracious and good to the ungrateful and the wicked.
Luke 6:35 AMP
And this is love: that we walk in accordance with His commandments and are guided continually by His precepts. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should [always] walk in love.
2 John 1:6 AMP
Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example], Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers). But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.
Psalms 1:1-2 AMP
And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation]. Such hope [in God´s promises] never disappoints us, because God´s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Romans 5:3-5 AMP
Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words and], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving];
James 1:19 AMP

Chris loved the Lord Jesus Christ, and was always a positive influence in my life. I will miss him, and wish his family well. May he rest in His heavenly Father's arms, until we meet again. Sending love to his kids, and his family.

A fond memory I had with Chris when we were just kids in the Garfield neighborhood. We were hanging out during summer break and he invited me to stay for dinner. He was a jokester so I didn't know if he was telling the truth. We walked into his house, introduced me to his wonderful parents and his siblings. Chris's mother and father were of Spanish-American decent which I wasn't aware of until I saw what was for dinner. Chris opened the lid on a huge pot and I smelled and saw the most amazing food I've seen in my young life! Paella it was called explained his mother, and she went about asking if I've had it before, my nationality, my family, etc. She was really very nice to me and made me feel comfortable in a home I've never been in. After Chris said at least 10 jokes, we sat down and said Grace. The paella had rice, chicken, shrimp, peas, and tasted delicious! Chris and his family made a poor boy from a bad neighborhood feel welcome. I always knew I would have a good time with Chris because of his ability to joke, and play around even when times were tough Chris always had a great attitude. I always respected Chris because he showed me that life is good if you look at it from a happy perspective. I've never forgotten that meal nor my friend Chris. He is an extraordinary man.
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your son, brother, father, and friend. May God bless and keep him. Sincerely, Mitchell Gallagher.
