Christopher Mayernick Obituary
He was born October 16, 1955, in Highland Park, MI, the son of Thomas and Irene (Regula) Mayernick. For many years Christopher painted cars for a living, and more recently worked at Lowes.
Christopher is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jamie; his sons, Brian (Nikki) Mayernick and George Furguson; his daughters, Samantha (Jake) Lewis, Jessica Gokey, and Christina (John) Ahrens; many grandchildren who adored him and called him Pepa; his parents Tom and Irene; his brother Paul (Sue) Mayernick; his sisters Joel (Georgi) Agosta and Colleen Jamison; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two sons Chris and Jordan.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris at Michigan Kenworth. We are all sending our prayers and condolences to all that knew him. Chris was a great guy, and will be missed by many.

Chris will be so missed. As I continue to grieve, I'm clinging to all of the great memories made with him. I love you so much Chris. You were so much more than just a step dad, you were my rock, and protector when I needed you the most. Thank you for always being there for me and my kids. They will miss their pepa. I miss you so much already, it just does not seem to be reality. I love you forever.
