Christopher "Chris" H. McLean Obituary
Christopher "Chris" H. McLean, age 70, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Chris enlisted in the Marines after high school, where he proudly served for six years. During that time, he earned the Rifle Sharp Shooter, Good Conduct, and Civil Defense awards. When he left the Marines, he found himself working for Harland-Clarke (formally John H. Harland) for forty-five years. Chris retired in 2019 and has been living his best life watching bad T.V. and football with his wife and taking care of his beloved pets. Too many Chris was a man of few words, but those who knew him would say otherwise.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Audrey McLean, and his father-in-law, Paul Pucci.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; his children, Nichole McLean (Ryan McCool) and Eric McLean (Sierra McLean); grandson, Caden; and his faithful pets, Sadie, Smokie, Emma and Ella.
Visitation will at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, on Saturday, January 20 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm with his funeral service at 5:00.
Memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project. Memories of Chris and messages of support for the family can be shared at www.ScottFuneralHome.com.
