Christopher Timothy Meixueiro, known to many as Chris, passed away in Independence, Missouri at the age of 53. His life was one dedicated to the art of carpentry, where he served diligently as a member of the carpenter's union, the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council, for many years. Chris was not only a skilled craftsman but also a patient teacher who shared his knowledge with friends and family whenever the opportunity arose.
Born on August 22, 1970, in Kansas City, Missouri, Chris grew up to be a man of exceptional character. Described as having the kindest and most incredible heart, he exemplified selflessness and generosity in all aspects of his life. Always ready to offer a helping hand to those in need, Chris touched the lives of many with his compassionate nature. Apart from his professional life, Chris found joy in various hobbies and interests. He had a particular fondness for delicious food, especially relishing his mother's cooking. An avid player of games like chess and scrabble, he cherished moments spent competing with loved ones. His love for dogs was evident, especially towards his own furry companions. In his leisure time, Chris sought solace in nature through activities like fishing and canoeing. Family was everything to Chris. He treasured moments spent with his loved ones above all else, although his nieces, nephews, and brothers-in-law held a special place in his heart.
Chris is preceded in passing by his father, Fausto Meixueiro; and his niece, Christina (Meixueiro) Ferguson. He is survived by his mother, Angelina Cole; and siblings, Fausto Meixueiro, Jr. of Kansas City, MO; Angela Grady (Brian) of Kansas City, MO; Teresa Crane (Robert) of Independence, MO; Ricardo “Ricky” Meixueiro of Kansas City, MO; Annette Meixueiro of Sugar Creek, MO; Robin Meixueiro of Olathe, KS; and Rebecca (Bryan) Garrett of Raymore, MO; half-sister Elizabeth Harpool of Kansas City, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
