Christopher Michael Morales

Christopher Michael Morales, 53, died Saturday, March 29, 2025, at St. Catherine's Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born February 08, 1972, in Garden City, Kansas the son of Joseph and Brenda Morales.
Chris was born and raised in Garden City and has resided there all his life. Chris graduated from Garden City High School. He had worked at Tyson for many years in the supply room, he then started working at Menards stocking and driving the forklifts. Chris was a very hard worker. He loved being outside whether it was doing the yard, raising farm animals, or doing a garden. He loved his grandchildren like no other. He was an amazing grandfather, father, and a loving husband. Chris loved being outside listening to music especially Tupac, Fat Pat, and Big Gemini.
He is survived by his wife - Lisa Morales, 5 children – Erica Morales, Kendra Koehn, Krista Morales, Kelsey Estrada and Michael Morales; 4 siblings - Jennifer Ryback, Joe Morales, Carol Bergstrom and Lela Atkinson; 8 grandchildren - Emiliano, Emilio, Emily Josiah, Isaiah, Tytus, Tucker, and Sakari. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Brenda Morales, sister Arlene Soukup and niece Brenda Estella Ruvalcaba.
Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 5, 2025, at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Rev. Jim Akins officiating. Burial will follow at Deerfield Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Service will be lived stream on Garnand Funeral Home Facebook page. Family suggests memorials be made to Christopher Morales Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
