Christopher Neil "Chris" Darroch

Christopher Neil “Chris” Darroch, 59 of Sanford passed away Tuesday October 22, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 4pm Monday (10/28/24) at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Grace Chapel Cemetery.

 

Chris was born in Lee Co. a son of Neil E. Darroch and the late Anna “Faye” Harrelson Darroch. He graduated from Lee Co. Highschool where he was a superb athlete, participating in football, softball, and wrestling. He worked as a welder at Trion for 37 years. He loved his family deeply, always putting them first. He was known as a tender-hearted, kind and humorous person who never met a stranger. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Teresa Roth.

 

Chris is survived by his wife Terry Nolen Darroch; son Andrew Darroch; daughter, Ashley Darroch; father, Neil E. Darroch; sister Anita D Bolen (Tom); nieces and nephews Madison, Brianna, Amanda, Lauren, Caroline, Gillian, Matthew, Jake, and Finley; sisters-in-laws Lynn Okulanis (Jay), Marshelle Britt (Chris); and brother-in-law Jeremey Whitaker (Ashley); and In-laws Ron and Loretta Nolen.

 

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8pm at Rogers Pickard Funeral Home.
