Christopher Patterson went home to be with his Heavenly Father on December 24, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Chris was born in Newport, TN on July 22, 1972, to Patricia and Dennis Patterson. Chris grew up in Chestnut Hill and continued to reside there until he passed away at home. To know Chris was to love Chris as he lived his life with a demeanor of great humility and kindness. Chris depicted every aspect of a true gentleman and would do anything he could for anybody. Chris set an example of how to be a good human being for all around him. Chris never truly realized the impact he made on the world and people around him. For all that knew him their lives were made forever better by having Chris be a part of it. Chris enjoyed fly/trout fishing, going to flea markets and travelling. Chris was always more than willing to jump in the car and just go for a day trip with no specific destination in mind or to plan a vacation where everyone was able to check something off their bucket list. It didn’t matter to him what he was doing if he was with his family. Chris worked for over 20 years for Bush Brothers. During his career there Chris continued to strive every day to learn as much as possible and to always do his best. Chris will be deeply missed by his Bean family. Chris is survived by his wife, stepdaughter, mother, 2 brothers, 1 sister, several nieces and nephews and many friends. In honor of Chris’s wishes there will be no formal services held. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Chris can be made to Crossroads Community Church in Newport, TN.
