Christopher J Pire

Christopher J. Pire, age 61, of Wausau, passed away on November 10, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, surrounded by his cherished friends and family members.He was born on October 2, 1964, in Wabeno, WI, to the late Robert and Leona (Kluck) Pire.Christopher attended high school at Wabeno High School and later worked for Salvation Army and the Randlin Thrift Store as the full-time cashier. Christopher enjoyed trains, reading, the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with the people he cared about.

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Louis Pire.

He is survived by many extended family members and close friends, especially Tammy and Russ Obermeier, who became Chris' best friends for more than 10 years, caring and befriending him and became his "Fellow Family Friend Traveler"; and Taylor and Adam. 

Friends and family may gather for a time of visitation on December 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a brief time of remembrance at 3:00 p.m. at Brainard Funeral Home and Cremation Center, (522 Adams St., Wausau, WI 54403).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Christopher's name to the non-profit of your choice; preferably one that provides items to the homeless.
