Earlier today

We were deeply saddened to learn of Christopher's passing. He was a valued member of Person to Person's volunteer community, and his kindness and generosity touched many lives. We are also truly honored and grateful that our organization was named as a beneficiary in Christopher's memory in lieu of flowers. This is a meaningful tribute that will help continue the spirit of giving Christopher graciously showed to others. From all of us here at Person to Person, our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

Oh, Christopher, we will miss your huge and tender heart. Your life on Earth, helping other and the Earth was an A+ and will always encourage us to continue to help others who are less fortunate. God bless and thank you for your warm friendship over so many years. The Grange Community misses you so much already. And to his loving family, Bill and I are so sorry for the loss of your father/grandfather/cousin/uncle. From Ann Reeves and Bill Swanson

My deepest condolences to all who loved Christopher. We were new friends, having met protesting in Westport last April. It was a heart connection from the first and then we discovered that we had the Benedictine Grange in common, though not overlapping in time. My heart goes out to his family. He is so missed. I'm attaching the last photos I took of him on 2/14/26.

I am a recent friend of Christopher's: we gathered at our weekly protest on the bridge in Westport. What a wonderful, funny, kind, articulate, amazing man he was! I am deeply saddened by his sudden departure from this world. I pray that it was quick and light-hearted for his sake . . . while I grieve the loss for his family and all of his friends.

O Dear Family of this Precious Man, Christopher...my heart weeps with yours. What a treasure of a man, so kind, and gentle, and thoughtful. Whenever I made any offering to the Benedictine Grange where we worshiped I could count on a sweet note from Christopher, encouraging and thanking. His love for Pamela was ever luminous as they joined us each Sunday - and he kept her radiant within him ever after her. What a blessing to have been blessed by him. Carry on his light. I am so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of Chris. I volunteered with him at P2P (sharing these photos of our Wednesday tent crew), and he was just such a helpful, funny, warm and friendly guy. We were just laughing and joking a few weeks ago, and having a great time as always, so that is how I will remember him. So hard to believe he is gone.
