Christopher Troy Rogers, 58, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Troy was born on January 3, 1967, in Aransas Pass, Texas, to Chet and Irene Rodriquez Rogers.
Troy started working at a young age as a shrimper and commercial fisherman on numerous boats out of Conn Brown Harbor. He moved to Cedar Creek Lake area, where he became an expert tree specialist.
Troy was tough, fearless, fierce, and loving all wrapped up in one man. He never met a stranger and could light up a room with his smile. He loved hunting, fishing, dancing, and searching for arrowheads. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family. For Troy, some of his greatest achievements in life were his three boys, Blake, Lance, and Cameron Rogers; his only grandson, Lane Shultz.
Troy is preceded in death by his father, Chet Rogers; Uncles, Abelardo, Richard, Jessie, Juanito Rodriquez, Randy, and Richard Rogers; Aunts, Dale Touch, Liz Merrill, Kim Hoyt, and Estella Rodriguez; grandparents, Juan and Paulina Rodriguez and Chet and Louise Rogers; Cousin, Jesse Rodriquez.
He is survived by his sons, Blake, Lance, and Cameron Rogers; his mother, Irene Rodriquez Rogers; brothers, Brian(Thelma), Anthony and Shane (Shelley) Rogers; sisters, Sabrina Cuevas and Delana Johnson; his grandson, Lane Shultz; Fiancée, Lindsey Fry his nieces and nephews, Troy, Brittany, Michael, Cortney, Devin, Victoria, Triston, Krystal, Brian, Dallas, Tanner, and Brylee; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; extended family, Mark Taylor, David Groom, Glen Adams, and Larry Miller
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas.
