Christopher M. Russo, a respected economist, was born on July 21, 1992, in Somerville, NJ, and passed away on January 25, 2026, in Milford, NJ. His dedication to his profession was evident through his impactful work with the United States Congress and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Chicago, where he contributed significantly to economic policy and analysis.
Christopher's intelligence and keen insight were matched only by his warm demeanor and genuine kindness. He built a reputation not just for his analytical abilities, but also for his collaborative spirit, making lasting connections with those he worked alongside.
He is survived by his loving father, Michael Russo of Leland, NC, his brother, Nicholas Russo of Leland, NC and his sister, Meghan Callahan of Bedminster, NJ. His grandmother, Marie Callahan, also survives him, embodying a generational link that will be cherished by the family.
Christopher was predeceased by his mother, Cathleen M. Callahan, whose memory will forever remain a guiding light in their lives, and his grandfather, Thomas Callahan, who is fondly remembered by the family.
As we reflect on Christopher’s life and contributions, we honor his legacy of dedication, compassion, and excellence. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
