Christopher Ryniker Obituary
Christopher was a lifelong resident of Westchester and Putnam Counties. He worked as a software engineer for New England Computer Group in Ridgefield, CT.
Christopher loved the outdoors. Camping, fishing, hunting and outdoor festivals were among his favorite things to do. He was a collector of comic books, enjoyed all kinds of movies, with Star Wars being his favorite, and gaming with his brother in Texas and his friends. Christopher loved a good cigar and was a member of Cigar Republic in Danbury, CT.
On August 19, 2017 he married Karen Hofler who survives at their home in Carmel. In addition to Karen he is survived by his father, Richard W. Ryniker of Newtown, CT; his brother Gregory and wife Bevin, of Ft. Worth, TX; his step-daughter Danielle Gleicher and Karen's parents and sisters, Richard and Eileen Hofler and Kathryn Hofler-Davis and Kristine Nichtern.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, September 1, from 4-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, 692 US Route 6, Mahopac, NY. Private cremation will follow.
