Mr. Christopher E. “Chris” Siler, age 51 of LaFollette passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025. He was of the Church of God Faith. For nearly 20 years, he served as a dedicated caretaker with Woodlawn Cemetery and Campbell Memorial Gardens, and took great pride in his work. Chris had a great love of music, especially Southern Gospel and the great George Jones. He is preceded in death by father, Rev. Abner Siler, grandparents, Francis M. and Mary Siler, and Charles R. and Emelene Marlow.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Dixon and husband, Seth; son, Timothy Siler and wife, Haley; 3 granddaughters, Delaney Dixon, Macy Siler, and Mallory Siler; mother, Mrs. Geneva (Marlow) Siler; sisters, Rhonda Lay and husband, Robert, and Brittany Buckner and husband, Mitch; aunt, Linda Powers; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wade Walls officiating. Graveside Services and Interment will follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Christopher E. “Chris” Siler.
