Christopher Paul Sittig, born on August 30, 1972, in Opelousas, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, in West Monroe, Louisiana at the age of 53. Embracing the joy of each day with a bright smile and contagious laughter, Christopher lived a life characterized by his profound kindness, boundless enthusiasm, and a loving spirit that touched everyone he knew.
As a devoted fan of Louisiana State University sports and the New Orleans Saints, Christopher relished the thrill of the game, celebrating each victory with the same zeal as he handled life's challenges - with grace and unwavering positivity.
He enjoyed the world of sports, but he also found solace and joy in coin collecting. He was an admirer of the popular television series 'Duck Dynasty,' Christopher often expressed his likeness for the personalities and values that resonated with his own.
Music of the 70s and 80s provided a soundtrack to many memorable moments, and he frequently displayed his playful side through his passion for games; whether defeating his high score in Candy Crush, watching his game shows, or eating.
Above all, Christopher's love of laughter was his trademark - a joyful expression of his approach to life. His laughter was a reminder to all who knew him that happiness is contagious, and a generous heart is the truest measure of one's life.
He leaves behind a legacy of love embodied by his siblings, Sharon Marie Sittig, Michelle Dupre (Mark); Bradley Sittig (Brenda); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and extended family.
