Publish in a newspaper

Christopher Aaron Skinner, 40, died unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident near Plainfield, Vermont on September 23, 2025.
Chris was born on January 4, 1985 to parents Earl and Leah Skinner. He spent his childhood in Graniteville, Vermont and graduated from Williamstown High School in 2003.
After graduation, Chris went on to work different jobs for NICOM related to concrete, in farming, and more recently as a foreman for Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems. He was an extremely hard worker and highly respected among his coworkers.
In his free time, Chris loved riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. Chris had a wonderful sense of humor and his smile could light up a room. He had a huge heart and would always do whatever he could to help someone out, even if he had just met them. He was known for making friends wherever he went - his undeniable energy drew people in, and his friendship and presence were deeply valued by all who knew him.
Chris was adamant about wanting to better himself and his life. He made many amends and beautifully put his ego aside to reconnect with many friends and family. Chris left this world the same way he lived his every day life - fast, loud and full of love, and he will be deeply missed.
Chris was predeceased by his father, Earl Skinner, his mother Leah Skinner and his sister Tammey Turk. He is survived by his sisters Sandra Boutin, Ann Marie Burdell, Tammy Skinner, Anne Skinner and Joan Skinner; his brother Michael Skinner; his best friend and nephew Joseph Martineau Jr., his nephew Donald Boutin; his niece Belinda Turk, close cousins Zach Fitch and Neal Clark; as well as many other cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, and great nephews.
A celebration of life for Chris will be held at the Canadian Club in Barre on October 27th at 11am. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Christopher, please visit our floral store.
