Orange-- Debra J. (Jewett) Clark, 70, of Orange VT passed away with her daughter and son in law by her side on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, VT after fighting a long 2 year battle of cancer. Born September 6,1955, in Burlington, VT she was the youngest of 7 children born to John W. Jewett and Izetta L. (Spaulding) Jewett. As a child she attended Williamstown Elementary School and graduated from Williamstown High School.

Debra worked at Aubuchon's Hardware for multiple years but spent most of her years working with the elderly as a caregiver and after retirement she worked as a substitute/bus monitor at Orange Center School.

She welcomed all family and friends into her home, with kindness, conversations, generosity, and of course her unforgettable sense of humor. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, going out to eat, car rides, car shows to see muscle cars, doing yard work, as well as her love for music and dancing. Most of all she devoted all her time to family, especially her 3 great granddaughters.

She is survived by her daughter, Casey (Dery) Germain, and husband Shawn Germain Sr. of Orange, Vt. Son, Rossignol "Ross" Dery, of East Barre, Vt. Granddaughter, Brooke Dery and partner Garret Maurice of Orange, Vt. Grandson, Shawn Germain Jr. of Orange, Vt. Grandson, Camdyn Dery of South Barre, Vt. Granddaughter, Camiella Dery of South Barre, Vt. Great Granddaughters, Millyanah, Loxleigh, and Twylah Maurice, Brother, Dennie Jewett of Barre, Vt. and Sister, Diane Parrot of Barre, Vt. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. A special person that was considered part of our family Jody Paige.

Debra was predeceased by her parents John W. Jewett, Izetta L. Jewett, and her siblings Wales E. Jewett, Juttie S. Jewett, John S. Jewett, Sheila Byam.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Orange Town Hall and a graveside service will follow at the Brook Haven Cemetery in Orange Vt. at the convenience of the family in the Spring.
