Steven Michael Hendee

Steven Michael Hendee, 63, of Fletcher passed away on Saturday January 24, 2026 in Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans. He was born on July 16, 1962 son of the late John and Pearl (Bevins) Hendee.

Steve was an excellent autobody technician from fixing a minor ding to a complete paint job. He recently worked for Heritage Collision and had been a long time employee of Caron's Autobody in Colchester where he made many lasting friendships along the way. He was an outgoing person and was friends with everyone. He loved spending time with his family and friends snowmobiling, riding his Kawaski Motorcycle, going to Thunder Road as part of Denis' pit crew and cutting wood.

Steve is survived by his two sons Michael and David, his loving caregiver and wife Sherry Hendee, three sisters Rose Busier, Mary Mossey, Lorraine Robtoy, his granddaughter and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his brothers John and David Hendee and his sister Linda Fournier.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday February 9, 2026 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel. No other services are planned at this time.
