Rex Gillilan Obituary

He leaves behind his wife Eva, son Matt and his wife Samantha, grandsons Curtis and significant other Ashley and Ashley's daughter Kinsley, Kolton, Braydon, Brandon and his fiancé Kallie, their son Beckham, and granddaughter Kordelia. He also leaves extended family, nieces and nephews that meant the world to him as well as many friends that always stuck by his side.
In his youth, Rex worked on the family farm, then went on to do some carpentry work however, his love of life came from logging and sugaring with his family. Next to his family, the sugarwoods and the sugarhouse were his pride and joys.
Rex now joins his son Christopher, parents Roy and Edith Gillilan and brother Gordon.
Abiding by Rex's wishes, there will not be any formal services.
There will be a celebration of Rex's life at the sugarhouse (2896 Fairfield Road in Fletcher) on Saturday August 2, 2025, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.
Please bring a written short story of a memory you have of Rex. We are going to include them in a book for his grandchildren and great grandchildren to allow Rex's legacy to live on with them.
