Christopher Gary Struble, 45, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 21, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Shannon Struble, with whom he shared 16 years of marriage. He was the loving father of Kira and Tristan.
Chris was a graduate of High Point Regional High School, class of 1997 and a 2002 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, where he met Shannon.
He was an executive chef for Compass Group. Chris loved the beach, especially vacations with his family at the Jersey Shore and Outer Banks, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting. Chris was loyal and dedicated to his family and friends. He was a good family man who was happy to plan the next adventure with friends and family.
In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his mother Rhona Beadle and her husband George Creathorne of New Bern, NC; father Gary Struble and his wife Kelly of Butler, NJ; sisters Sarah of Morehead City, NC, and Katie and brother Thomas of Butler; mother and father-in-law Diane and Bob Rock of Telford, PA; sisters-in-laws Allison and Dana; grandmother-in-law Evelyn McCarthy; niece and nephews Alyssa, Brendon and Jimmy; step-nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins from England, New York and New Jersey.
A funeral service for Chris will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 26, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, from 4-7 PM and again on Friday from 10-10:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kira and Tristan's future, c/o Shannon Struble. A Venmo account has also been set up in Chris' honor for his children. https://venmo.com/u/in-honor-Chris-kiratrist
