Albert L. "Bert" Struble, 79, of Parkside passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Born in Lower Merion, he was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. Bert resided in various parts of Delaware County during the course of his life and lived briefly in Florida, Arizona, and Georgia.
Bert was most recently employed as salesman in the Waste Management Sector, but he also opened various small businesses during the course of his life varying from detailing work to small automotive repairs. Bert was a member of the SCCA and raced up and down the East Coast, focusing primarily on an improved touring category. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast and owned a vast array of bikes over the years.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Albert Struble and Elizabeth (Page) Struble, and additionally by one sibling: BJ McConnell.
Survivors: One sister: Susie Ross and two lifelong friends: Brian McCormick and A.E. "Pete" Padley.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home of Aston, Pennsylvania.
