James P. Walsh "Jim," age 77, passed away on February 5, 2026. A longtime resident of Wallingford, PA. Jim was born in Darby, PA, and raised in Delaware County, PA. He graduated from Springfield High School, Class of 1966. He met his wife, Louise, when he was just 16 years old, and they shared 52 years of marriage together. In the 1980s, Jim moved to Wallingford, where he remained for the rest of his life.

Jim worked as a mechanic for Weathers Motors for over 20 years before retiring. Even after retirement, he continued doing what he loved, working for Steve Luongo's Auto Repair and Towing.

Jim was known for his sense of humor and his ability to find joy in life, even during difficult times. He was resilient, generous with his time, and always willing to help others. He enjoyed listening to music, working on his cars, fixing things himself, and attending car shows. He especially enjoyed being around friends and family. Above all, Jim cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren.

He was the son of the late William and Helen (née O'Neill) Walsh, and the brother of the late Helen Marie Walsh, William Walsh, and John Walsh.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Louise (née Tarsia) Walsh; his children, Amanda Mallon (Matt), Jim Walsh (Meaghan Paice), and Tracey Taylor (Ryan Best); and his granddaughters, Kyleigh Taylor, Birdie Walsh, and Remy Mallon.Visitation: Monday, February 16, 2026 from 10:00am - 11:15am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston, PA 19014.
