It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Chris on August 18, 2025 following complications from a spinal cord injury. Though his physical presence has left this world, his spirit takes flight-joining his mom, Lydia; his dad, Raymond Sr.; his brother, Ray; his sisters, Missy and Barbara; and his nephew, Tommy. We find solace knowing he soars among angels, watching over us always.
Everyone who knew Chris would tell you he was an extraordinary athlete-an incredible hockey player and all-around competitor whose dedication and passion were unmatched. He found profound joy in caring for his beloved Rottweilers and Boxers, and his connection with animals brought out his gentle, compassionate side.
One of Chris's favorite places was Pittsburgh, New Hampshire, where he cherished fishing along the Connecticut River with his extended family-including the Cronins, Carriers, Boisverts, and many more. Those moments by the river, surrounded by family laughter and nature's peace, were some of his happiest.
He also loved the thrill of riding motorcycles, embracing the freedom of the open road with the same spirited enthusiasm he brought to everything in life.
Above all, Chris's deepest loves were his sons-Nathan and Kyle-born of his first love, Tiffany. Chris's bond with Nate and Kyle withstood challenges and became the foundation for Chris's unwavering strength and hope. Chris was happy to share his two sons with their stepdad, Troy. He also leaves behind son Jacob and daughter Mackalyn. Chris shared a remarkable connection with his sister Patti (Ordeshook)-his best friend and unwavering supporter through all of life's highs and lows. He is also survived by his niece Jessica Bittle; Auntie Lynn; and his brothers Mickey and Steve Valliere, along with countless friends whose lives he touched from childhood to the end.
Chris's final wish was to be remembered as an eagle soaring above the clouds, clutching two hockey sticks. So if you ever see an eagle in the sky, say hello-knowing that's Chris smiling down, free and fierce as ever.
