Christopher Dylan Vinson, age 28 of Charleston, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, Charleston, in rural Mississippi County, MO.
Chris was born October 23, 1995, in Austell, Georgia, to Shawna Vinson Murray who survives of Charleston and Timothy Parker who survives of Georgia. He had lived in Charleston all of his life. Chris loved fishing, the outdoors, music and his family.
Surviving in addition to his mother and father is his stepdad, James Murray; his sisters, Heather (John) Shadder of GA and Kaitlyn Campbell of AL, Justice Murray of MO; his brothers, Stephen Adams of GA; Bryan (Ashley) Campbell of Charleston, James Murray, Jr. of IN, Cory Hurt of AL; his grandparents, Sheila Harrison of Charleston, Rose and Richard Parker of GA and Teresa Leslie Webb of AL.
Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Jason Blasingain, Leroy Blasingain, Jason Tubbs of IL, Brandy (Dale) Vinson, Lance (Audra) Tubbs, Kim Riley and Rhonda Passley all of Charleston, Tina (Stephan) Willis of East Prairie and Donna (Edward) Jarrett of AR; his special cousins/sisters, Stephanie Riley (Zman) and Beth (Lil Rod) Johnson of Charleston; special cousins/brothers, Dylan Housman, Josh (Tyshay) Hedge, Ricky (Kim) Riley and Jeff (Nicole) Riley; a special little boy, Lou of East Prairie, nieces and nephews, Bubbles, Koca, Baby Dale and Mychala Hedge, Abby, Liz, CJ, Ty and Alex all of GA; Zoey and Jaiden of AL and Kaiser of Charleston.
He was preceded in death by his "other mom" Bertha (Nannie Poochie) Hedge, his pawpaw, Curtis Hedge, uncle Jamey Blasingain and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
