Christopher Scott "Chris" Williams, born on September 14, 1963, left this world on November 15, 2024, leaving behind a legacy woven with laughter, kindness, and love. As a dedicated member of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office for 30 years, Chris served with honor, achieving the rank of Sergeant. His career was marked not only by his commitment to duty but also by his profound ability to connect with those around him. He had an uncanny talent for finding humor in any situation, always capable of brightening even the darkest of days with his sarcasm and witty banter.

Chris cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Lindsey (Jeff) Johnson, whose spirit he nurtured with unwavering love. His grandchildren Shelby Tester and Avery Johnson, were the light of his life, and he took great joy in sharing precious moments with them, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Additionally, Chris's stepson, Sean Smith, held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Doris Mooney.

The bond he shared with his girlfriend, Shelley Fisher, was a testament to the love that blossomed even in the later years of his life, providing him comfort and companionship that he cherished deeply. Together, they enjoyed a lifetime worth o f laughter, love and memories together. Chris’s favorite pastime was fishing with his buddies which allowed him to reflect on life, nature, and the beauty that surrounded him.

A funny man at heart, Chris had an unparalleled gift for making others laugh, a trait that all who knew him will remember fondly. He loved all animals, but his boys (his dogs) were his world.

As we gather to remember Chris, let us celebrate a life well-lived. A life characterized by laughter, love for family, and unwavering dedication to service. His spirit will continue to inspire all of those who were lucky enough to know him, and his legacy of humor and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. Rest peacefully, Chris-you will be dearly missed.
