Christopher Alan Yefko

Christopher Alan Yefko, born on September 6, 1955, in Washington, DC, passed away on December 27, 2025, in Durham, NC, at the age of 70.

Christopher served his country with dedication as a machinist in the Navy, where he honed his skills and developed a lifelong passion for working with planes and cars. Following his service, he transitioned to a career as a shipment coordinator in the retail industry, where he was known for his diligence and commitment.

Outside of his professional life, Christopher had a deep love for his grandchildren. He also loved cats and found joy in their companionship. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed biking, boating, and skiing, embracing the thrill and tranquility these activities brought him, especially his many jumps as a sports parachutist. Among his simple pleasures was indulging in his favorite treat, twizzlers, which always brought a smile to his face.

Christopher was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Helen May Yefko and Peter Yefko. Though he leaves behind no surviving family or friends, his memory will be cherished by those who knew him.
