Christy Lyn Miller

Christy Lyn Miller, age 52 of Decherd, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. She was born in Jackson, Tennessee on May 19, 1972. Christy had previously owned and operated a daycare, where she always welcomed children and their families. Her loving and compassionate nature not only made her a successful caregiver, but also a wonderful mother and grandmother. Christy enjoyed going to the beach, but cherished the time spent with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joyce Marie Curtis, Bond Harvey Little, and Mildred Wilkson Little, and mother-in-law, Faye Ellen Miller. Christy is survived by her loving husband, Earl Miller; children, Brittney (Jay) Beckey, Drew Dodson, Mason Andrew Dodson, Justin Miller (Mindy), Toby Miller, and Dylan Miller; grandchildren, Ryelyn Miller, Jaylnn Miller, Landon Miller, Kingslee Miller, Harper Beckey, Ashton Dodson, Gracelyn Dodson, and Oaklyn Dodson; mother, Patti Zaph; father, Gregory (Karen) Little; siblings, Kimberly (Richard) Goodwin, Madison Little, and Allyson Easley; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Visitation will be from 12-3pm on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.
