Christy Diana Scarrow

Christy Diana Scarrow, age 47, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on January 9, 2025, after a five-year battle with cancer. She was born on January 4, 1978, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas. Christy and Preston Scarrow were joined in marriage on December 19, 2003. She was Vice President of Patient Services at Hope Cancer Resources for 17 years. Her passion in life was helping cancer patients in Northwest Arkansas.
Christy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Mary Lou Morrison, and her grandparents-in-law, Bonnie Wood and Buster Wood.
She is survived by her husband, Preston; her daughter, Avery Langley of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her mother and stepfather, Julia and David Stapleton of Fayetteville; her brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Teresa Clark of Weatherford, Texas; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Linda Scarrow of Berryville, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Kevin and Eulena Scarrow of Berryville; brother-in-law, Travis Scarrow of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and family members.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Arkansas. To leave an online tribute, please visit www.bernafuneralhomes.com.
